Welcome to Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc

Tri-County Electric Cooperative is headquartered in Mount Vernon, Illinois at the intersection of Interstates 64 and 57. The cooperative serves more than 15,700 residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial customers in the three-county area.

More than 2,000 members and friends of Tri-County spent Saturday, July 10th listening to news from and about the cooperative during the 72nd Annual Meeting of Members. Patronage credit checks for the years 1979-1980 were distributed to members, reports of the President, Secretary/Treasurer and Manager were heard and prize drawings were held at the end of the meeting.

Re-elected as directors on the cooperatives board were Jerry Corners of Jefferson County and Phil Carson of Washington County. Newly elected to the board is Thomas Beyers of Marion County.
